Ocean Wave Round Mug
This hand-brushed stoneware mug features a soft matte white with blue accents. It was hand-thrown, glazed, and fired at 1230ºC.
Inspired by the rugged landscapes of the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors, it was handcrafted locally in Harrogate. The design brings together my Japanese heritage and the natural textures of the countryside.
The hand-applied wave patterns reflect the gentle movement of the ocean, with subtle curves and lines that add a quiet elegance to the mug.
As each mug is handmade, no two are the same, making every piece uniquely its own.
