Ocean Wave Moon Jar
This hand-brushed stoneware moon jar features a soft matte white with blue accents. It was hand-thrown, glazed, and fired at 1250ºC.
Inspired by the rugged landscapes of the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors, it was handcrafted locally in Harrogate. The design blends my Japanese heritage with the natural textures of the countryside.
The hand-applied wave patterns evoke the gentle flow of the ocean, with subtle curves and lines that add a sense of movement and quiet elegance to the jar.
Each moon jar is handmade, so no two are exactly alike, making each one uniquely its own.
