Hakeme Bud Vase II
This round ceramic vase features Hakeme, a traditional white slip decoration brushed onto black clay with a hake brush. It was hand-thrown, hand-brushed, and fired at 1230ºC.
Inspired by the rugged landscapes of the Yorkshire Dales, it was handcrafted in Harrogate, combining my Japanese heritage with the organic textures of the countryside.
Each vase is handmade, with subtle variations and marks that make it truly one of a kind.
