This stoneware ceramic plate, finished in freckled white, is hand-thrown, glazed in several layers, and fired at 1230ºC.
Taking inspiration from the rough and wild landscape in the Yorkshire Dales, it was handcrafted locally in Harrogate. Each piece intertwines my Japanese heritage and countryside surroundings to create patterns and glazes which mimic organic textures.
